Undergraduate Student
Soren Holm a senior from Denmark. He is a Chemistry with Computing major at the University of Notre Dame.
Soren's research involves enantiomeric separation using shear flow simulations. He does reverse non-equillibrium molecular dynamics (RNEMD) simulations imposing a momentum flux on racemic mixtures, and analyzes the resulting motion of the two enantiomers. He also studies the flow properties of these molecules by computing resistance tensors using force-torque cross correlation functions.
Soren is also on Notre Dame's Division 1 Swimming team, where he was named the Elite89 Award Winner in 2015 (Highest GPA at NCAA Championship), the First Team Academic All-American in 2015, and was named to the ACC All-Academic Team in 2017.
