Graduate Student
Alex Mazanek is a graduate student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame. He completed a dual degree in Chemistry and Physics at St. Bonaventure University in 2017.
Alex is developing an atomistic reactive model for oxygen atoms interacting with platinum surfaces, and will be studying the dynamics of oxide layer growth on these important catalytic surfaces.
